The Tustin Unified School District is seeking
applicants for its Measures G and L Jointly
Acting Citizens’ Oversight Committee. The
Measures G and L Citizens’ Oversight Committee
will begin meeting as a joint committee,
beginning July 2011.
The TUSD Board of Education appoints members to
a committee to inform the public regarding the
expenditure of Measures G and L’s proceeds for
school construction.
The committee will consist of at least seven
members, including a parent or guardian of a
child enrolled in the District; a parent or
guardian of a child enrolled in the District and
active in a parent-teacher organization such as
a PTA, PTO or school-site council; an individual
who is active on a business organization within
the District; a person who is active in a senior
citizens’ organization; and an individual who is
active in a bonafide taxpayers association.
The oversight committee may also engage in
activities such as receive and review copies of
performance and financial audits, and inspect
school facilities and grounds.
